Will Children Be Taught E Is For Elephants Or Extinction?
In school, children learn the alphabet by associating the letter E for elephant. Soon that may change. What if children are taught E is for extinction because of the high price for ivory? Elephants are being slaughtered to the brink of extinction because of the high value of their tusks.

Groups tied to some of the most powerful terrorist groups poach animals like elephants to fund their activities.
A Vote For The Ivory Trade Is A Vote For Terrorism
Many people do not realize just how sophisticated poachers are. They have sophisticated, high tech equipment, complete with helicopters and high speed all-terrain vehicles. They slaughter wildlife for the sole purpose of raising money which supports efforts by terrorists groups directly involved with human trafficking, the sex trade, and drug trafficking. Groups like The International Anti-Poaching Foundation work with wildlife conservationists and anti-poaching teams to provide military training to help stop their activities. However, more laws need to be passed internationally to stop these heinous crimes.
Will NJ Gov Christie Sign This Bill?
There is a significant difference between a partial ban and a full ban on the sale of ivory. A partial ban will actually encourage poachers to slaughter the last remaining elephants and rhinos until they are extinct to drive up the prices of their tusks and rhino horn inventory. This is exactly why a partial ban will not be effective. It is more or less putting a Band-Aid on a gushing wound.
Recently, a coalition of anti-elephant poaching advocates submitted their request to Governor Chris Christie in an effort to end the ivory trade and sign S2012 into law. Coalition Letter to NJ Gov Chris Christie Jul 15 supporting ivory sales ban.
Below is a video request to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie to sign the bill that would ban the sale of ivory in the state of New Jersey. A partial ban will not stop the terrorists that poach wildlife to fund their activities.

One elephant is killed every 15 minutes. The elephants will be extinct soon. I sincerely hope that the New Jersey governor will sign this bill. It will be the first of a big shift in our attitude towards wildlife.
E will also mean the end for our own species!
Very interesting interview. I never thought of terrorism as it pertains to wildlife and poaching. As a resident of Teaneck, I hope he signs this bill!
It has been an honor to participate in this essential campaign to ban ivory sales in NJ and the world. I am confident that Governor Christie will do the right thing and WILL SIGN THE BILL TO BAN IVORY SALES.
The Chinese govt is no better than the American govt and has allowed so much to get out of control. If we lose these keystone species, we will also wind up extinct. Great interview, June!
As a resident of Upper Saddle River, I sincerely hope that he does indeed pass this bill. E is also for election. I will vote for Hillary if he doesn’t pass this and I can’t stand her!
Ouch! Even I wouldnt vote for her, especially since she put Monsanto on the map!
Then again, if you are from USR, you’ve got bucks! I’m sure he knows that!
I had no idea they still allowed ivory to be sold. I thought this was banned decades ago. What is wrong with these people. Thank you for another informative interview. I’ve been a listener since 2010!
BOYCOTT CHINA, SHOOT THE POACHERS. WE DONT EVEN WANT TO BE IN A WORLD WITHOUT WILD ELEPHANTS. STOP THIS TRAGEDY NOW.
