It is officially summertime and as the temperature continues to rise, more people eagerly head to the pool or the beach. While the sun does provide essential Vitamin D, too much sun can harm your skin. Another major issue is whether or not these products are tested on animals and contain animal derived ingredients. Conscious consumers are especially particular about how the products that they choose to buy are made. Excellent Blog June! I think it’s really great to expose the dangers that many are totally unaware of that are hidden in sun care products. It’s hard to believe and understand why ANY Company would put these carcinogens and/or hormone disrupters in their products just so they can turn a buck! Especially PHTHALATES – it’s insanity!

I never even thought about what was in the sunscreen I use on myself and my kids. These days, you have to be careful with everything you buy.
