What Are YOU Thankful For?

Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude! So, we asked our friends and colleagues to call in to answer the question, “what are YOU grateful for?” Throughout the entire show, previously featured guests will be calling in to offer inspiration and talk about what they are thankful for.

This first time charity event is going to be covered LIVE from Coast to Coast! June Stoyer, the host of The Organic View Radio Show will be in New York on the East Coast and will be joined by her “GFF” (Good Food Friend) Dennis Weaver, on the West Coast. Many of you will remember Dennis, who is the Founder and Good Food Guide for Change Your Food – Change Your Life!™.

Live Performances! Our Good Food Ambassadors, Organic Jazz Singer, Ellen Livesay and Teen Sensation, Keely Clark will be performing LIVE!

Charity Auction! We will also be kicking off our charity auction where listeners can bid on an assortment of gifts that have been donated so generously by companies such as:

The proceeds from these gifts will be auctioned off on EBAY and the proceeds will be going to 3 deserving charities. So far, our team as selected FamilyFarmDefenders.org and TruthAboutPetFood.com and we want YOU to select the 3rd lucky charity!

Because there are so many great causes, we are asking our listeners to vote for their favorite charity. If you would like to vote for your favorite charity, please leave a comment here and tell us the full name of the charity you would like us to donate 1/3 of the proceeds to. The charity can be located any where in the world!

    Specialize in rescuing puppy mill dogs, providing all their medical care and finding them wonderful forever homes. They also work hard to educate the public about the horrors of puppy mills. An amazing shelter!

    Wonderful shelter specializing in rescuing puppy mill surviviors. They provide them with all their needed medical care, a soft warm bed, food, treats, love and rehabilitation. And eventually find them a forever family of their very own. They also work hard to educate the public on the horrors of puppy mills in the hopes of one day ending this horrendous industry. An amazing shelter!

    The Mosby Foundation is an all volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization specializing in paying medical expenses for sick, abused and neglected dogs. Many of these dogs have been abandoned with no one to speak on their behalf, or to help them live the lives all dogs are meant to live. Others have owners with limited means for providing adequate medical attention for their pets. Completion of an application requesting financial assistance is required. Verification of medical need and medical services is made with the attending veterinary hospital. Each request is reviewed individually to determine the amount of funding the applicant could receive. Payment is made directly to the attending hospital. The Mosby Foundation also offers the following programs for assistance: Spay/Neuter fund and Humane Education for elementary schools.

  748. I nominate Best Friends Animal Society, in Kanab, UT, the largest no-kill animal sanctuary in the country. My husband and I visited and volunteered there many years ago and we fell in love with the place and did not want to leave! We volunteered to help “Cat Land,” and were surrounded by the cutest sweetest kittens and cats. It was a wonderful memorable experience and we’d love to return there for another wonderful visit and to volunteer. The staff there is very hard-working, they’re very devoted, and they love and care about the animals very much! I highly recommend that animal lovers make an effort to visit and volunteer! You’ll fall in love too! 🙂
