It is a fact that many people prefer animals over other human beings. With animals, there is no such thing as racism, bullying, or any kind of a popularity contest. However, human beings can really do unspeakable things to one another just for sheer amusement. It is sad that our innate need to control can wind up inflicting so much cruelty, pain and suffering. In life, there are many lessons to be learned. Sometimes you learn them from the things done to you and sometimes from the things you do to others.
Granted, while we may be different as individuals each of us has some kind of a natural instinct or “spark” that is immutable and guides us. What exactly does this mean and where did it come from? Are we really alone or is it just that because we cannot see, hear or touch something, we need proof? This perhaps, is a matter of faith and also a matter of our own reality. In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer will speak to award winning author and famed animal communicator, Jon Soeder about his latest inspirational book which is about his own life of enlightenment.

There are still restaurants using illegally obtained wildlife for food. The Wildlife Conservation Society announced today a series of successful restaurant raids by Vietnamese enforcement teams throughout the city of Da Lat, the latest action in Vietnam’s ongoing effort to eradicate the sale of illegal wildlife within its borders.

Pat Foreman Explains Why City Chicks Rule!
More and more people are raising chickens due to the inhumane practice of factory farms and use of antibiotics. For folks that wish to grow food organically, locally and sustainably, raising chickens has become the most popular method. Across America, municipalities are allowing and even encouraging residents to keep laying hens within city limits. Expert, Patricia Foreman, author of CITY CHICKS: Keeping Micro-flocks of Chickens as Garden Helpers, Compost Makers, Bio-recyclers and Local Food Suppliers is certainly leading the way.
